Casagrande cells

This instrument has a porous element connected by two tubes to the
ground surface in order to take level and piezometric measures in confined aquifers.
A PVC tip encourages descent into the test hole. At the other end is a
PVC cap with two threaded holes – ½” gas – for housing the PVC pipes
passing to the surface.
Point pressures are reflected by water levels in a rigid pipe. Such levels
are determined using a piezometric reader.
The filter element features 35 micron diameter pores.
It is possible to perform stand-alone measurement using an electrical piezometer and the data recorder D1-Flex LOG.
