The M1-BF leaf wetness sensor is an instrument that is used in the agronomic field, can determine the degree of leaf wetness.
Its sensitive element is made up of electrical circuits (comb-shaped gold electrodes) inclined at 45° to simulate typical position of plant leaves trying to drain off excess moisture.
If the surface gets wet, the conductivity reaches its maximum level.
It detects wetness from rain, dew, condensation, artificial vaporization or irrigation.
Waterproof sensor can be used to drive other equipment.
