97% of the solar energy that radiates onto planet earth is confined to
spectral range ranging from 290nm to 3000nm (WMO).

The ideal instrument for measuring this irradiance must have a flat response in this spectral range.

The LP PYRA 03 pyranometers (2nd class) measure global solar irradiance in the spectrum range 0.3 μm – 3 μm. (300 – 2800nm)

They are used for atmospheric research, for meteorological stations, for climatology,
agriculture etc.

It does not require external power as it is an active instrument.

Each pyranometer is individually calibrated with traceability to the WRR (World Radiometric Reference) and is accompanied by a calibration report.
