The M1-GT globe thermometer is suitable for measuring the mean radiant temperature (MRT).
The globe thermometer is made up of a very thin copper metal sphere (diameter 15 cm) coated with matt black paint with an emittance E equal to 0.95.
The copper sphere is the part of the instrument designed to be heated by the surrounding environment and inside there is a Pt 100 sensor.
The spherical shape is used because presents an approximation of the shape of the human. The instrument is used to control microclimatic conditions of environmental well-being.
Resistive analog output, voltage (0-5 V) or current (4-20 mA).
