The underlying principle of operation involves the frequency variation (Doppler effect) of an ultrasound signal when it is reflected by suspended particles or gas bubbles in motion (discontinuity).

This measurement technique uses the physical phenomenon of a sound wave changing frequency when reflected from moving discontinuities in a flowing liquid. Built-in data logger can store more than 2000 measurement data including instantaneous flow, accumulated flow (positive, negative and net), speed, working status etc.
