The M1-Pluv rain gauge is an instrument for measuring rainfall created following the WMO guidelines.
Made of painted light alloy with a completely metal mechanical measurement system to obtain reliable measurements and avoid frequent calibrations.
Standard collection area 500 cm² suitable for mounting a 1000 cm² spreader.
Data logger housed inside the instrument has a data storage on SD card.
Possibility to connect a solar panel directly to internal battery to charge it.
Rain gauge for alarming extraordinary events.
Tecnopenta produces a model of data acquirer (FlexLog series) to be associated with the M1-Pluv rain gauge, which, thanks to the implementation of a dedicated firmware, is able to process directly collected data and define it on the basis of intensity and duration of the precipitation any risk threshold.
This instrument has been studied as a part of projects be able to predict mudflows (debris flows) or any heavy rainfall events.
